my v700 is dead at 2 years and 2 months. the technicians at epson could not isolate the problem. they could only point at the motherboard.the scanner used here is the epson v350. at half the cost of v700, it also produces half its quality in color and clarity. i had to ps to lessen the bluish tinge and improve clarity.
