what is this critter?

another camera on loan. the owner does not remember the brand name of this particular agfa folding camera. i tried googling it but failed to find the model. according to a friend it uses a 127 film, a "paper film" that can still be bought on ebay. it looks like the agfa billy series.
i don't know how the focus works. i am afraid to turn the screw on the focus ring which is fixed at 10 ft. everything else seems to work though. and it is in remarkable condition. the owner promised to bring film on her next treatment session.

(the photos were taken with the canon g7).

You have an Agfa Billy 0 (Zero) c. 1932-1937. Your's however has two view finders: a flip up on the body and another mounted at the shutter. I think the Billy 0 (with one viewer) and the Billy Speedex has two.

Mine can be seen at: http://www.kelticknot.us/page%2008.05.10_1.html

A Follow Up

It sounds like your focal ring is stuck. The screw should not be removed! The screw limits the focal ring to one turn then the screw hit the black metal bumper. Frozen focal rings seems to be common with the older Agfa's. Often if oil is applied it will work it's way into the shutter!
